Parish Ongoing Renovations
Church Windows:
Tewksbury Construction
has completed restoration of the Church's stained glass windows.
Our windows were installed in new aluminum frames fabricated by J. Sussman. J. Sussman is one of the largest
manufacturers of standard and custom aluminum windows.
All of the windows were removed for repair and restoration, a few at a time, over a period of a few
weeks. They were reinstalled with a pane of clear protective glass on the
outside. Additionally, Tewksbury replaced all of the exterior wood
moldings with a product that is guaranteed to resist decay.
Gathering Area:
Construction on the gathering area in front of the church was finally completed
with the installation of the railing.
We are
starting to work with a landscaper to develop a plan for the landscaping.
Additionally, we have a rough design for a new, larger illuminated sign in front
of the church on Harrison Street.
Fr. Tom invites all interested to
join a weightlifting group. Lift weights and exercise at your own level and at
your own pace. Having a partner adds motivation, and, the camaraderie is fun. If
you are interested in exercising, or if you are interested in weightlifting,
speak to Fr. Tom, or call the Rectory. We usually "lift" on Saturday, Monday and
Wednesday evenings.
Fr.
Tom's most recent bench press record was 270 lbs., set on Saturday, March 25.
He was quoted as saying, "not too shabby for an old man with skinny little
arms."
THANK YOU FOR VISITING US!
